Q: What are the percentages of C8, C10, and C12?

You can figure it out from the label, but you are right it is not noted. There is actually no mention of C12 at all, but in another comment the manufacturer responded with the grams of each. This is how it breaks down from the 14 g of MCT: Caprylic Acid (C8): 55% Capric Acid (C10): 35.71% Lauric Acid (C12) and Caprioc Acid (unknown ratio, but combined for 1.3g total): 9.29% Since we do not know what the percentage of C12 to C6 is in the 1.3 grams, my view is to assume it is mostly C12 for the purpose of bypassing the normal digestive process and going straight to the bloodstream for energy while fasting. In my estimation, this makes it not he best choice for this purpose. There are other brands that don't obfuscate those details so you can actually know what you are consuming. Not to say this is a bad product, I have purchased it and use it, but I prefer to use a more precise formula when fasting.

Q: can you use this on your skin?

I am a skincare formulater for 9+ years and use lots of organic oils. At the time of your question, I don’t believe MCT use in skincare was well known, if at all. However in the past few years, it has become a staple - literally - in clean, effective skincare. I got this from the web: MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) Oil is a liquid oil manufactured through the esterification of glycerol using medium-chain fatty acids isolated from natural sources (Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, or a combination of the two). MCT Oil is popular in aromatherapy and massage therapy as a carrier oil as it does not interfere with the scent of aromatic blends, absorbs rapidly, does not stain clothing, and leaves behind a silky but non-greasy feeling to the skin.
