Great
We're a die-hard Cafe Bustello coffee fans. I'm really particular and snobby where Coffee is concerned, I hate any and all coffee that I do not brew. We have a certain strength and boldness that we like, and we will not accept less. So when this little combo arrived and I realized I didn't get what I thought I had ordered I panicked. But it's pretty similar to my C.B. and while I did have to use 5 scoops for half a pot as opposed to our usual heaping 4 scoops per 1/2 pot. I don't mind that part though, I'm down for whatever necessary to get the job done. And I now have a great alternative for the times that C.B is ridiculously overpriced for whatever reason (I've seen it where the cheapest option was at least 10 bucks more than my normally rationally priced coffee.) I really liked whatever the white bag is, the greens were fine but the white had more kick.

Wonderful coffee
This is a company that knows something about roasting coffee. I use both the decaf and the regular coffee. I drink my coffee black, no sugar. I make the coffee in a one cup drip coffee maker and I use 20 grams of coffee and 390 grams of water. The result is a full flavor brew that just fills up your mouth with that great coffee flavor and aroma. I have tried other Hispanic type coffees and they are good but they don't compare to La Llave. Just try this coffee. You might have to experiment with the proportion of water to coffee to get the perfect result for you. You won't be disappointed.

Just a test to compare this to Bustelo that i use. Not strong enough, Bustelo wins for me.
I give it 5 stars because delivery was perfect , product was in a good shape and there is nothing in regards that to complain. I bought Cafe La llave to compare it to Cafe Bustelo. So this is first time i am trying Cafe La llave. I like strong coffee and make it with regular filter coffee maker, add Chobani coffee creamer and sugar. Made my coffee with La llave this morning.. and just realized.. it is not strong enough the way i like it, and it feels all just like milk, it does not have the strong coffee smell. I have read many reviews.. both coffees are supposed to be dark roast , cuban coffee.. and some people have posted that they buy them interchangeably .. like whatever is on sale. That is not going to work for me, I am clear now that Bustelo is stronger smelling and stronger coffee flavor that works for me. This coffee la lave is very light, Not robust enough, so it might work for people that like it that way. Bottom line.. if you like strong smelling coffee, strong flavor coffee this is not it. This was just a test for me, and i am going to have to use this La llave coffee by mixing it with Bustelo to spend it, so bustelo can give me a boost that i like in a coffee.

Espresso perfection found.
The media could not be loaded. Alright, fellow coffee fanatics, let me tell you, I'm practically bursting to share this with you! My husband and I, We're the real deal when it comes to coffee. We're talking 4 or 5 espresso shots a day, black as night, no sugar, no milk, no nonsense. For us, coffee isn't just a drink; it's practically a sacred ritual. We need those good beans, you know? It's just how we roll lol.Since we moved to the US, we've been on a mission, trying just about every coffee brand under the sun. Honestly, it's been a journey. But then, one day, almost by accident, I spotted La Llave at Harris Teeter. And let me tell you, that was the day everything changed.I pulled a shot, and bam! I was hooked. Seriously, immediately. The taste is just...perfectly balanced. No bitterness, no burnt taste, just pure, smooth coffee goodness. And it's always, always fresh. But the real star of the show? The crema. Oh my God, the crema! You know that beautiful, thick, creamy layer on top of a perfect espresso? La Llave delivers it every single time. Our machine helps, sure, but these beans? They're the secret sauce for that amazing, dairy-free creaminess you see in the pictures I shared. It's just divine.Honestly, I really hope this brand sticks around forever because I can't imagine my espresso mornings without it. And here's the cherry on top: the bundle they offer is such a great deal. You get all this amazing coffee for less. It's a win-win!If you're an espresso lover like us, and you're looking for that perfect shot, you have to try La Llave. Seriously, go get some! You won't regret it.

Rich Flavor at an Affordable Price
For those who enjoy a bold and complex espresso, this dark roast offers a rich, full-bodied flavor with a subtle touch of acidity that adds brightness to every sip. The deep, earthy notes are complemented by hints of chocolate and a light citrus undertone, creating a well-balanced profile that is both strong and smooth. Its vibrant aroma fills the room as soon as you open the vacuum-sealed package, ensuring that each brew starts with maximum freshness. Whether you enjoy it straight, in a cappuccino, or as a base for a strong iced coffee, the intense yet smooth character of this blend stands out.Versatility is one of its strengths, working well in espresso machines, moka pots, and even drip coffee makers. The grind is fine enough for most espresso setups, though it may require some tweaking depending on your machine’s extraction preferences. The touch of acidity gives it a lively edge, but some may find it slightly overpowering if they prefer a smoother, more mellow espresso. Additionally, while the vacuum-sealed packaging preserves freshness, the lack of a resealable option means transferring it to an airtight container is necessary to maintain its peak flavor.Overall, this is a fantastic option for anyone who appreciates a strong, flavorful espresso with a hint of acidity that keeps the taste crisp and engaging. It delivers a robust, Cuban-style coffee experience at an unbeatable price, making it a great daily brew for espresso lovers who enjoy a little extra brightness in their cup. If you’re looking for a dark roast that balances intensity with just the right amount of sharpness, this one is worth trying.
