Very good translation, especially for the price. I'd recommend it to the casual reader or college students.

This edition of Sophocles' "Oedipus the King" is very reliable. Not only does it exemplify Aristotle's "Poetics," but it can also help to explain Freytag's plot model. For young students just beginning to explore Greek Tragedy, this is the edition that leaves nothing out, and yet is easy to follow.
