Good quality and value
I’ve had this 3D printer for a couple of weeks. I’m still optimizing the settings, but it seems to print pretty well, especially for the price. This is not a ready to use system, installation took several hours and you will need to tweak the slicer settings to get it just right. That being said, once you get it set up and dialed in, it works great. I debated which printer to buy for a while, and I was a little skeptical about the features and price of this unit. However, this is a large printer that works great. Even the filament that comes with it is if reasonable quality. If you’re trying to decide on this, I’d say go for it as long as you have enough patience to put it together and work out the settings

MODIFICATION REQUIRED: Poor quality starter kit
This product will not 3D print out of the box.The auto level DOES NOT WORK.First print broke the print head.Assembly requires more than one set of instructions from multiple sources.Customer service told me to replace the parts myself and to pay me back.Z axis will needs redesigned => step motors burnt out.

This 3d printer is good value, but oversimplified design.
Overall - it works, but frame is not as rigid as it should be for such a large 3d printer.

Good printer for the technically experienced
Good DIY 3d printer kit for the technically experienced. To me this is not a device for a beginner. It has quality parts and easily modifiable design. The assembly documentation is challenging to use but there are youtube install videos and some additional instructions/parts on thingverse. The technical support is provided by email or Skype from friendly and knowledgeable persons. They helped me assemble and repair a used version of this 3d printer and even sent me parts! I am pleased to have it working well and printing above average prints.

Only purchase this for your enemies.
Extremely disappointed with this printer, as well as their customer support. I contacted them multiple times over missing components, only to be offered a refund of $5 to buy the missing components *Eyeroll*. When they did respond to inquiries, it was days later and they would give some bs excuse as to why their product sucks worse than Oakland Raiders fans. That’s when I should’ve returned the printer. Instead, I decided to get this to work, because I’m a masochist, and have since replaced the hotend, thermistor, thermocouple, all angle brackets for the extrusion, and the crappy hardware that was supplied. After getting it powered up, I attempted to make my first print....which turned out about like you’d expect for a printer that came with extremely outdated firmware that was built around god knows what platform. After spending 10 hours of going through marlin and changing settings (like adding thermal protection because Flsun apparently doesn’t think that’s a thing), I was finally able to get an almost presentable part. That’s when the original thermistor shorted out and caused thermal runaways. Soooo I replaced the thermistor only to have the thermocouple fail within five hours. Now, I keep getting random thermal runaway errors because they didn’t use mosfets and the ramps board has fried itself.Save your money and buy a quality printer.
