Sam!: A Little Treasury (Stella and Sam, 8) Hardcover – Picture Book, November 1, 2014

My son loves the Stella and Sam show, so I was so excited to get this book for him for Christmas. He's only 3 so he was excited about it either way, but I was sort of disappointed. The stories were very very short versions of some of the tv show episodes, but it seemed poorly written in my opinion. Where after reading it I caught myself thinking "that was dumb". The stories all ending in a pointless manner. They could have done a lot better with this book.

I enjoy Marie-Louise Gay's series about Stella & Sam, and my pre-kindergarten class has enjoyed it, as well. I also read it to the kindergarten class for whom I am a reader. They loved the stories, too!!

This book is sweet and well written. My son loves to climb on my laptop and listen to the stories about Sam. Not too long and not too short, just the right length for bedtime cuddles.

my daughter and i read this book at least once a week. we love it and i hope it is one of the books she keeps to pass on to her children.

My 3 year old grandson loves the Stella and Sam books as well as videos. Well written and teaches kindness, caring, how to use your imagination.

Beautiful book, my toddler loves it

We got my son this book for his birthday to go with the Stella treasury I found at a thrift store. He loves the Stella and Sam show but when I turn off the show he's happy to read the books instead! He just turned two and will sit with the books and "read" them to himself if we aren't reading them to him, since he loves them so much. The stories are simple, every day interactions between a brother and sister.

I was introduced to the series by my niece, who’s name is Stella. The Stella and Sam characters are so sweet, it’s hard not to love them. I adore the fact that these stories encourage children to be curious and to use their imaginations.
