These castor oil pack wraps are a total game-changer! I’ve always loved using castor oil for detox and digestion, but the mess was such a hassle. Last Monday, I covered a patch with castor oil, and applied it to my lower back. It stayed on all night with no leakage, and was easy to remove. But, Tuesday night I applied another patch, and awoke on Wednesday with my back red and itching ferociously where the patch's adhesive was stuck to me. In over 70 years I'd never had any reaction to an adhesive. Removing the patch TOOK SOME SKIN OFF with it! Today is Monday again. The raw wound is healing slowly, but still itches. I have a tube of Desitin cream which helps a little. The patches are made in China. Judging from my experience and the many negative reviews and photos here, the adhesive seems like an industrial product, as it certainly is not safe for use on human skin. I threw out the remaining patches. Don't waste your money like I did!

Most people use these for castor oil and I definitely think this would work great for that. They’re soft and flexible and not uncomfortable to wear for a long time or to sleep in by myself. Purchase them because I’m in the process of reconstruction from breast cancer and the and different bandages were so uncomfortable. This was soft lightweight, not painful to remove and stayed on. I couldn’t be happier. My picture isn’t great to show you how flexible they are, but if you look close enough, you’ll see that it looks velvety so super soft.

These patches work great to keep castor oil contained and prevent it from getting on my clothes. Unfortunately, as mentioned by other reviewers, the adhesive gave me a rash if I used the patches in the same area more than one time. I used the patches overnight the first time and removed it the next day with no issues. A few days later I applied it to the same area and the next morning when I removed it I had a red welty looking rash where the adhesive contacted the skin. It took a good week to completely go away. I then tried the patches again in a different area and the same thing happened. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin. Too bad because they do work great and are more convenient than the reusable cloth kind.

Update: Now that i have been using these for a while, they are the best way to keep the caster oil (very messy) off clothes and bedding. I love them & will be getting more soon.I use castor oil patches for pain control. These are much easier to use and best of all less messy than the home made ones with cotton patches and cling wrap. Much quicker and easier to apply and they work better because they stay in place, especially on my knees.

The first couple of weeks, I had no issues aside from the painful removal. While is does stay in place because of the adhesive, removing it hurt. After 3 weeks, I found out I was allergic and had a mark as if I had been burned. It wouldn't go away until 2 months later. Personally, due to the painful removal of adhesive, I wouldn't recommend it because it feels like you're tearing your skin off.

Adhesive patches absorb oil and are a great size. They are soft and comfortable and effective. Removes without pain, but the patches can come loose during sleep.

This may work for others, but my skin was too sensitive and broke out from the adhesive I sometimes get this from certain bandaids too. After one use the next day I in the shape of the sticker that turned brown after a week. I bought these thinking they would be better than the cloth ones, but I should have invested in the cloth ones instead.
