Worst headphones I have used in a while
I am going to preface this by saying, I am not a headphone snob by any stretch. I used to love the free headphones that came with my phone and my current favorite pair is one I purchased at $5 Below. Yet, even though I am happy to settle when it comes to my audio needs, these are still 1 star headphones. For reference, I was connecting to an iPhone 12. Let me break it down by attribute:Charging/Case:-The case is bulky. I have several pairs similar in style to these with more compact cases. This case would not fit comfortably in a pocket.-The digital display for charge is nice. It is easy to read and gives clear indication when it is charging.Fit-The concept of headphones that wrap around but do not go in the ear is a great one. I have a lot of trouble with earbuds and always look for something like this. Unfortunately, the hard plastic that these are made with make them difficult to use. They seem to be molded to fit petite ears because the speaker sat well above my ear hole.-They did stay in place when I shook my head but they did not feel secure on my ear. I doubt they would stay on if I was working out or sweating (See Ease of Use for why I didn't test this).Sound:- The sound was tinny. I tend to listen more to podcasts and books so music quality is not a deal breaker for me BUT even the podcasts sounded tinny! No bass or low pitches came through at all. The sound does get pretty loud but it is so tinny that it makes your ears ring.Ease of use/Instructions- The instructions are, at best, basic. They are serviceable though.-Initial connection was easy, however, every time I turned them off I would have to reconnect (and once, rediscover completely) to them in the settings on my phone. The headphones would beep and say they were on, I would play something and, though it indicated it was playing, no sound came out of either headphone. I did this 4 separate times and was only able to get sound to play through them one time.-The headphones are controlled by touching the outside of each headphone. How long and how many times you touch it determines which command you are using. The button* is slow to respond so sometimes you turn them off instead of turning up the volume. *I use the term "button" because the instructions refer to it and say to "click" it. It does not depress as you expect a button to.Battery life:- The headphones were completely dead when I received them. I plugged them in and when I came back about an hour and a half later, they were fully charged. I used them for about 15-20 minutes total and that consumed 2% of the battery. There are plenty of better options out there, for less money, that will work better.
