Installed on 1967 Camaro
Installed new control arms that are supposed to mostly correct the caster issue 1st gen F-bodies have. To take it the extra step I also installed these ball joints. Alignment shop had no issues getting the +5 degree caster I asked for which is what is recommended for a spirited street car or light autocross.

Supply your own hardware.
Hardware too short in aftermarket control arms and does not use locking nuts. ¼-28x¾ is what is in the box.

Just what was needed to help my Camaro handle better
Good quality ball joints. A little expensive compared to they others but my steering has tightened up for sure.

Better Hardware, Better Geometry
The Proforged tall ball joints are a factory replacement style ball joints only 1/2 an inch longer and a lot more beefy. They bolt in just like a factory model but improve the geometry. I've had these for almost 2 years and several hundred miles with only positive results and no adverse issues. I'd do this as one of my first upgrades to any old GM A body without hesitation.I own a 1970 Buick GS and the handling on an old muscle car is pretty bad as delivered from the factory. As stated, the wheel camber moves the wrong direction in a turn. As a result, I used to scrub off the outside edge off of my front tires way before I burned up the rears. When I upgraded my front end with tubular control arms, I opted for the Proforged tall upper ball joints in the control arms to improve the handling. When I had it aligned, I had it set at +5 caster, -1 camber and it really came out nice. Now when I turn the wheel all the way to the left, the right tire lays in at the top and looks like a motorcycle laying into a curve. It looks the way a new European car does.
