Instructions are horrible. Grammar is poor and not very detailed, but you can figure it out easy enough. Here are some things that may be useful:1. On a new water bottle there is a plastic ring left once you twist off the cap. The bottle screws in a bit more snug if you remove that ring.2. It won't twist on very tight. Feels like it may leak when it's running, but somehow it doesn't. Unless you move the unit and lift by bottle. Then yes it will leak.3. Takes AA batteries.4. Has a tiny filter and comes with one extra. Each filter should last about 3-4 months depending on use. No information on how to order more. Seems like that 1 year warranty will expire just when you need a new filter.

It is light weight and compact size for travel. Like other humidifiers I used, the light is LED and it’s so bright. It cannot be turn off. I have to cover it to be able to sleep. The hissing steam sound is something to get used to. I am still looking for another quiet one. Meanwhile, this will be ok for the moment.Tips: Connect and disconnect the humidifier like putting a water bottle cap on to avoid spilling all over. It does not come with storage bag. So, I used an old one from other humidifier.

For the size, this is a great humidifier. You can't add essential oil, just water. Be sure to find the white adapter that blends in to the space in the box or your bottle will not fit. I used a small coke bottle. Once I found the adapter, I have been happy with it. It is for a small room and does not put out the vapor as much as a larger humidifier, but is great for The night stand.

It works to moist my face area during desk work. But when the volume goes down, the air pressure will press the bottle twisted and continues warer supply in to the ultrasound vibrater might decrease. So I drilled a small whole at the bottom of the bottle and use only this bottle. It will not leak from the bottom if tightened properly( I did failed to do that once and woozed about 1 oz on my book shelf). Still working so far. I will see how long will it work.up date 2020 JanI tried to use this humidifier again, the base works fine but the bottle converter cracked and no bottle can fit in it.

Nozzle clogs after a few uses with tap water, purified water, and RO water. It's OK if you use distilled water, but that's kind of a hassle. The whole reason you want a tiny portable humidifier is because it's convenient, and remembering to always have distilled water for it is not convenient. I was able to clear the clog by soaking it in white vinegar. Which works, but is also kind of a pain. Also, it doesn't put out a lot of vapor, and it leaks if you forget to turn it upside down when you're not using it. On the up side, it is inexpensive, super portable, and has a timer.

Unfortunately had to return ours. Purchased 2 to keep bedside. They produced decent vapor but we had to keep them in a saucer because they leaked water so badly. If I hadn't caught it first night of use, my bedside tables would have been ruined :(

This device was exciting as I travel quite a bit. Unfortunately, the device does work and for that I would have given it four stars. Unfortunately, my kit did not include a bottle "cap adapter", so an average sized water bottle, only balances in the device. Now, as an example I am on the road all week and I have spilled three bottles of water when they fell over.Maybe with the cap adapter it will be more stationary. Unfortunately, other wise, you will accidentally knock over the balanced water bottle.

The water stick it comes with (2) started to get brown... threw away one and left with one. This is the most important item.. else water will not get misted... should provide more of it instead of just 2.
