Working well after one month, some reasonable limitations. Recommend.
Update 11/20/2018. Still working fine.Update 4/3/2018. Still working fine for me with a Windows 10 system and two Raspberry Pis. I've never tried to use an external power supply and have read several reviews reporting damage to other equipment when trying to do so. My guess is it requires an isolated linear regulated filtered power supply. Most power supplies made these days are switching power supplies which are not fully isolated and incompatible with some equipment, even if the voltage and current are correct. Some are reporting issues when trying to use a 4k monitor or a computer with multiple monitors, it's not designed for these so it's not surprising people have issues with these configurations.Original review. The FJ-401HUA HDMI KVM switch isn't a top of the line product designed for switching servers in a production environment, but for most home users it should be adequate if you understand it's limitations.Four 4.5' USB A/B cables are included. You will need to supply your own HDMI cables. It does not come with a power supply, however on many configurations including mine, it works fine without it. For some systems an external power supply may be required depending on how much power your USB ports provide and how much your keyboard/mouse require. This supports up to 1080P resolution (1920x1080). If you are using a high resolution monitor such as 4K, this isn't going to work for you.I haven't tried installing the software CD (windows only) as I'm always leery of software from small chinese vendors and it didn't seem necessary. In addition to the front panel buttons to change inputs, I found through experimenting that you can advance to the next screen input by pressing NumLock MinusSign NumLock in rapid succession. Some other keys presses sandwiched between NumLocks also have the same effect to advance the screen. There may be other combinations that will take you directly to a specific screen buy I didn't figure them out.I'm using it with two Raspberry Pi 3's and a Windows 10 PC. I also had a Amazon Fire Stick (Gen 1) plugged into the fourth port at one point. All worked just fine (obviously the keyboard and mouse do not interact with the Fire Stick). I've tried a generic keyboard and a logitech G213 gaming keyboard, both with a wireless mouse. The gaming keyboard does not remember it's specialized settings when moving from the Win 10 system to the Pi's, but this is due to the keyboard design, all the regular keyboard functions work fine going back and forth. For output I'm using an inexpensive HDTV as a monitor.Their web site is fj-gear dot com. The site seems out date and some links don't work. I was unable to find this product, although I found other types of I/O switches and KVM products. Time will tell on well this KVM switch holds up, but so far I'm quite satisfied especially considering 4 port HDMI KVM switches under fifty dollars are hard to find.

Recommended for cost. Ease of setup not there yet. Once in place it's a solid addition to a home network.
Purchased strictly because of the cost and almost minimal amount of cabling needed compared to other KVMs. Delivery was quick based on the location of origination. Had it within two weeks.Took a bit of work to get this working; reason being I had a 4K monitor! This device does not seem to be compatible with anything over 1080P. So I ended up purchasing a small 7" monitor to hook into this. Basically that cheap purchase had now doubled my cost. Still cheaper than a professional KVM device. So once I had gotten all of the wiring situated (5X standard AmazonBasic HDMI cables + the 4 USB cables that come with the device) started playing around and noticed that nothing showed up on the monitor until I recycled the systems connected to the device. Again this possibly had been because they were original viewed on resolutions > 1080P and they needed to be able to be viewed on a much smaller screen via reboot.Overall this is feels like a well made device. The box itself is metal, the buttons give a good tactile response, the HDMI ports are solid enough to force a bit of pressure in plugging in a device, and it's a nice decent size to hide away. I did NOT give the software a whirl as it's from China. I do NOT have it plugged in via 5V port.

It has limitations, but gets the job done.
It's pretty good for the price, and didn't fry any of my equipment. I did connect a 5V power supply. I don't know if that helps the functionality, but it keeps the box alive when all the computers are turned off.The max resolution is listed at 1920x1020. I have it connected to a 1920x1200 monitor at 60Hz and it's working fine.Unlike some other switches, it "disconnects" the monitor from all but the active input, as if the cable had been unplugged from the computer. This causes some usability issues. I am using it to switch one monitor on a dual-monitor Windows machine, plus some other inputs including a Raspberry Pi.Switching away from that windows machine causes all open windows to be transferred to the other monitor, exactly as if you had unplugged the cable from the Windows 7 machine. This isn't really an issue, because your windows (mostly) fix themselves when you switch it back. It takes the Windows machine a second or two to recognize the mouse and keyboard, but it's not too bad of a delay. The Raspberry Pi doesn't activate its HDMI port unless it is connected when you boot, so you must have the Pi selected when you boot it or you get no video. For the Pi and other Linux systems, the mouse and keyboard are active immediately upon switching. There is no delay like there is with Windows 7.I didn't install the software on CD, so the only hotkeys that I have are the scroll lock and num lock keys, and they don't work all that well for switching. I use the buttons on the box to switch, which do work well and switch very quickly. The instructions are only in Chinese, but if you're using the box without the software you won't need them.

Simple KVM that almost works
It works with wired and wireless keyboards and mice, tested several and didn't have any issues except for HDMI display. I couldn't get it to work with HD 1080p, but 1600x900 worked. I've had to straighten out two USB port prongs. Does not come with a 5V power adapter and it looks like it can't use one either. There could be devices that won't work because they need power. Not worth the price.

You get what you pay for.
I've used many such KVM switches and this one represents good value although it does have limitations. It only works up to 1080P which is just fine for me. And Windows does think the monitor is disconnected when you switch to another station but I have got used to that easily enough. The box is quite well made of metal case and well fitted connectors. It does not overheat. It comes with 4x USB cables but not with HDMI cables or with a 5V Power Supply. I simply run a normal powered USB cable into the unused 4th channel so the box is always alive and doesn't bleed too much power from my PCs. My only gripe would be that the buttons are a bit hard to see in a dark room so I added white dots all good. Not bad for $75. UPDATED the unit has failed after 7mths of operation. New solution now required.

Faulty Product
Faulty product, could only power one peripheral device at a time. The moment I connected both a mouse and a keyboard, it would result in constant disconnects.

It does what was advertised
We simply plugged it in and it works as expected. We are using with a combination of Apple Mac mini's, Raspberry Pi 4 and a Windows PC.

Unreliable
Doesn't seem to work well with higher power draw devices, such as Apple keyboard with built-in hub. Returned it for a refund.
