Flagstaff Ladies Thinsulate Rib Beanie Hat

I chop the tops off hats like this and wear them as neck gaiters in winter. I thought a woman's size would give a snugger fit ... maybe it does, but the difference is marginal. The Thinsulate lining is very effective around the neck! If you want to do the same tailoring, you'll have to hem it because bits of fibre keep coming away like dark dandruff. (I think it's the Thinsulate, as I didn't have that trouble on others and they were Thinsulate-free.) If you just want a warm head, you'll be fine with this, so 5 stars.

The hat is ok, but it was not Thinsulate as advertised but a random brand

It's really thick and warm and good value for the price. Kind of big on my head (even when I thought I have a big head). I look like a garden gnome when I wear it, though appearance isn't much of a priority. Very comfy and I can wear it all day long outdoors. It's quite waterproof under drizzles. Worthwhile buy and I might buy another one in a different colour.

this is a good warm hat but in my opinion it is very masculine . I ordered it for myself , but have given it to my husband . Nothing wrong with the hat itself .
