Other reviews commented on the sturdiness of this pole set. They were not mistaken. The metal is heavy and the threads are cleanly formed, making for a very easy 3-minute assembly. The pole seems strong and should last a very long time. I didn't use the included platforms for attaching your own bird house because I placed my Bird Buddy right on top of the pole, using the plastic attachment that came with the Bird Buddy. It fits perfectly (it doesn't screw on, it just sits there, but it would take a super strong wind to dislodge it - it hasn't budged since I installed it a couple of weeks ago). If you're looking for a Bird Buddy solution, this is a good one.

Very well built. A simple assembly with a quick install. The cross spikes offer great support.Works with Bird Buddy bird feeders. Larger birds like blue jays have twisted the bird feeder's position. It doesn't bother the bird feeder stand. My BB is not attached to the two included mounts. Works with a metal baffle for squirrels (not shown).I would buy again or as a gift.

This pole kit is very well made, sturdy, easy to assemble and adaptable. Within minutes of having set up my new birdhouse on this pole, a bluebird had left a "deposit" on it.

I've purchased a LOT of shepherd hooks for my bird feeders and flowers. Most are thin and weak - but this is the opposite! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness. The company really paid attention to the details, it's even shipped with plastic on the ends of the spikes to prevent the sharp points from damaging the box. It was easy to assemble and so far so good. This was absolutely worth the money.

Easy to install, can make it higher or lower by assembling less sections. First bird buddy perfectly. Sturdy in grass.
