Some of the hooks are way off size using various gauges including the one from another Boye kit. Why bother with different sizes if you aren't going to stick to them. A 4.25mm hook should not be smaller than a 3.75mm hook, especially when said 3.75mm comes in at 3.25. Thankfully I managed to cobble together a complete set out of several kits and some re-marking of sizes.

As a new starter with crochet, I was looking for a comprehensive selection of crochet hooks which weren't too expensive (in case I gave up - which I haven't). The set from Boye is excellent, the hooks are aluminium, they are easy to use, the wool I've been using slides off easily (DK yarn). The case is handy and neat, keeps everything together, Just a great purchase.
