Worth Every Penny
Unit recently I have been a very fit 60+ aged man, more than capable of undertaking a 1000+ cal workout in the gym comprising of Cross trainer/Stepper/exercise bike, with a lightweight weights session of around 30kg reps as a cool down.Lockdown didn't pose an issue and I developed a cardio workout in the garden, resurrected my old weights and bench from the garage and devised a similar workout. Unfortunately, I became ill quite suddenly and therefore I needed something low impact to ensure that I have some cardio exercise - I can walk, but what used to be a cool down walk with the dog of 7500 steps is now as much as I can manage in a day. So from fit to recovering is where I am at.I looked at a number of exercise bikes and decided that this is probably the most appropriate for my needs and have absolutely no regrets having purchased it. I did consider buying one of the peloton family, after all, whilst they are expensive, I like exercise. I am so glad that I didn't, as for my purposes and at this moment in time, this bike offers everything that I need. As I recover, I may change my mind.So what do you get? The bike arrived and was simple to assemble. Took about 20 minutes. Once assembled it was just a case of inserting two AAA batteries and I was ready to go. So in summary:+. Easy to assemble+. Sturdy and whilst not of professional quality, the resistance in use is progressive and consistent.+. Comfortable seat and backrest.+. It has a display which incorporates a pulse reader. Personally I don't take any notice of anything other than the timer and distance covered. For pulse etc I use a chest belt which records to an app how well I am exercising, but for those who are perhaps a bit less obsessive about exercise, the display and monitor are fine.+. I balance my iPad on the handlebars and use a free app to provide me with a gentle ish programme or watch catch up TV.+. Easy to store when folded.Great exercise bike. Well worth the money and more than enough for someone who is not too obsessive, is recovering from illness or injury or who just wants some low impact cardio exercise. Whilst I'm in the obsessive category, this is more Ethan enough for me at this moment in time and I am delighted with it.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED>

As Good As Most Gym Bikes
I've waited till I've done a few hundred kilometres to do a review and have not found anything in that time to lessen my enthusiasm for this excellent machine. A bold claim perhaps, but - apart from programmed rides which I never used anyway - the ride really is as good as gym bikes. OK, the data is a bit basic, and the pulse meter takes a while to catch on, but the functionality is there and the experience is the same. The price has gone up quite a bit since I bought mine six months ago, but with excellent build quality, ease of assembly and the ride experience it's still good value for money. I searched for a while till I found this - the 110kg load was a factor for me - and it is just as good as claimed in the description. I'm not much good at assembling stuff sometimes, but this was very easy and I did it alone without the need for any "can you give me a hand with this please?" Light enough to lift easily in and out of the corner in the spare room, it's small enough that I've never even bothered to find out whether you can fold it up, but I think you can. Check out the description if you want to do that, but it is unobtrusive with a minimum footprint that won't get in the way.The sealed crank unit is smooth, and though I mainly want to "twiddle" (ancient cycle racing term) you can add to the difficulty and it still rides smoothly. Some older machines tended to be jerky when you did that, but this one remains silky smooth. I've tried - believe me I've tried - to find something I don't like or that isn't right to put in this review but I honestly can't.Brilliant - nice to buy something which meets expectation in reality and not just on paper!

Ultrasport F-Bike Home Trainer 200B FOR LIGHT AND OCCASIONAL WORKOUTS ONLY
[First of all, ignore the grotty wallpaper. I've only recently moved in and I'm unable to redecorate at present due to my operation]As you can see from some of the photos this is a very recent purchase (The Rugby World Cup was on TV!)Please do READ THE MANUAL before assembling this bike.Maximum weight suggested in the manual is 110Kgs. DO NOT EXCEED THIS.I'm 5'7 and I weigh 80 kgs so I'm OK. ;-)===========================================================================================**DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN ANY OF THE BOLTS** OR YOU COULD BE IN DANGER OF STRIPPING THE THREADS OR DAMAGING THE FRAMEWORK OF THE BIKE.Do check the bolts on a regular basis (suggested in the manual)You get an allen key and a small spanner (both supplied) to tighten up the bolts as well. The spanner supplied does the job OK for tightening all the bolts, as does the allen key as well.Only use manual force when fitting these and there's also no need for a screwdriver.Assembling this bike took me about thirty to forty-five minutes on my own (I would've been quicker if I wasn't recovering from my operation)There's five settings for the saddle height, and there's also a level marked on the saddle stem that says maximum height. DO NOT GO PAST THIS, or you could damage the stem. I had it set on the third hole (about the middle setting)Fitting the pedals:The pedals are marked Left and Right, and the manual clearly tells you what way to screw them in. The straps are easy to fit and I had no bother using them at all. (You don't have to use the straps if you don't want to)The right hand pedal is screwed in clockwise and the left hand pedal is screwed in anti-clockwise. (It's stated in the manual)This bike is compact, lightweight, easy to store away, easy to use, and no real force, when cycling, is required to use it.This is a friction base bike. [ There's three types available. Friction, Magnetic and Motorised]It's fairly easy to fold away for storage and is not overly heavy when moving either.===========================================================================================I got this exercise bike after taking a look around at various ones, to help with my home physio, following a knee operation. This one, for the money as well as my needs, suited me perfectly.I was advised by my physiotherapist to get an exercise bike (or pedals!) to aid my rehab exercises at home following my recent Total Knee Replacement Surgery. I go in to my local Hospital once a week for a physio session so this bike fitted my requirements to a T for me to use at home to aid with my home physio exercises.I have to do certain exercises to build up my leg muscles and to aid in getting a full rotation of my knee bike exercises are required. I tried this bike on Levels 1-4 and there was no real resistance for my knee at all. So I'll be using the higher levels for three ten minute sessions daily to go with my other exercises (third day so far) at "Level 6".That might not seem much, but when you're recovering from Knee Replacement Surgery it's a big deal, let me tell you, and my knee gets a decent work out, but I'm not allowed to overwork it, so thirty minutes spread over the day does the job using a Level 6 setting (That'll please my physio!)The bike is fairly stable but do take care when getting on/off the bike, mainly so that you don't overbalance it, and also do make sure the locking pin is in place and is secure before using the bike. It doesn't move around on the carpet on the front room for me, so why people say this bike moves when in use then I really don't know what they're doing to make it do that. But do be aware the bolt heads, on the floor mounts are not really that flush to the metalwork and do protrude slightly so if you have a wooden floor place a mat under the base to stop them from marking the floor. The digital display I found to be a tad touchy and the button feels somewhat loose. So when using it tap it carefully or you'll go past the setting you want to keep on display. It kept using the Scan setting, when I was trying to leave it on Time. It's fairly functional and is more or less accurate, I've not checked it to see how well it works against other timers that I have (on my watch for example) it will, however, switch off after about for or five minutes if not used. There are two batteries are supplied for this unit.Overall It's very good for light workouts and occasional use, and it suits my needs as well. So I'm very happy with it.Refer to the photos I've taken to see how it fits together, I took a few close ups of the bolts etc to help you see it fitted together, and take note of the photos of its measurements when in it's stored position.
