EdotenMens Yukata (With an Obi Belt)

Beautiful yukata for hot weather
I ordered the "turtle black" color, but received the "turtle navy". I'm so happy with it I don't mind, I think I actually like this dark blue better. A very distinguished, traditional look, very handsome. In the late 1980s I bought a yukata in Japan and was thrilled at the light, cool breathable cotton, and wanted something similar. I used it until it was literally falling apart.I've been using Western-style robes but it is getting hard to find a thin cotton one for summer. I live in an extremely hot place and terry cloth stuff/thick hotel-type robes are way too hot in summer.I only want it for after a shower and relaxing on a weekend morning while having coffee or matcha, it's so nice that it's almost too formal. It isn't made in Japan, it's made in Myanmar so a bit expensive in my opinion, but I'm happy with it. The thin, crisp material is exactly what I've been looking for, and it's a beautiful design. I like that it has the traditional sleeves, they have a pocket inside for a small, light item . I'm 6'1" and about 240 and XL covers my ankles. Probably could have got a L but as I don't have stairs it's just fine.

Beautiful and functional
I bought this as a gift for myself and I'm so very glad I did. One of the things that attracted me to it is the length - most men's robes (etc) are either knee-length or mid-calf length, and I wanted something a bit longer. Problem solved. The Yukata is roomy, and I love the large sleeves - they even have something of a pocket built into them. Excellent place to stash my phone or other small objects I need to carry with my while I have it on. I will warn you that the sleeves will easily catch / drag items when you're working in the kitchen (washing dishes, cooking, etc.), so be careful with that.My one "complaint," as it were, is that it's almost too long. I have to be careful walking up the stairs so that I don't trip on it, but that's the only place i tend to have a problem. It's a perfect length for standing/walking.

Very, very nice!
I like the quality of this so much I may have to get more to wear OUT of costume! Great fabric, vibrant yet subtle patterns that hold up through COLD WATER washing, and well sewn. Fit is perfect (I'm 5'11 @ 200#). Item is good for in home, post bath/shower, or costume. It's a bit on the light weight side so you may need to layer underneath. Not a cheeply made item for the cost.

For the price, this is a pretty nice Yukata!
This was delivered quickly, and though the sleeves are ever so slightly short, I am very very happy with it. The material is on the thin side, which makes it nice and breathable, great in the Summer or Fall. The Obi is a bit narrow, but workable. I would definitely buy again, or even suggest to friends.

Beautiful, almost perfect!
The fabric is beautifully designed, looks much nicer in person than online. (It looks dark gray here, but is actually dark blue in reality.) It washed well and didn't shrink at all; I'm 6' 3.25" and was afraid it would end up too short but, even after washing, it still reaches my ankles. The fabric is thin - which I like - but it's rather scratchy. I expect it will soften up with more washing. With such thin fabric, the collar probably should have some lining so that it holds its shape and doesn't fold over. My only other complaint is that I wish the - inside - seams were more nicely finished; even thought the wearer is the only one who will see this when dressing, the white overcast stitching on dark fabric looks a little cheap. Overall, though, I've quite happy with this garment.

Where does a really big boy find a Yukata that fits? Right here by God!!!
Measuring in at 6'-5" and with a Covid fighting trim weight of 371lbs, I had little hope of finding a properly fitting yukata to suit my needs. And to what needs did this yukata serve, you might ask? The hem came down to the proper ankle height of about four inches above the floor, sleeve length was correct, and there was ample material to comfortably gird the dirigible-like midsection of a lazy Jedi wannabe for Star Wars watching loungewear. Also, nothing makes watching a samurai movie a more immersively juicy experience than by doing so in a well fitting yukata. Upgrade the narrow matching obi supplied with this yukata to a contrasting wide one with the historically convenient Velcro closure and you too can, when no is looking, tote around a katana like an obese samurai. Top that off by blundering thru some impressive simulated fake kendo/tai chi combo moves while threatening, "Bring it, Toshiro Mifune!", or "Don't even think it, Zatoichi!", and, Bob's your Uncle, you've gone from zero to hero.

A really beautiful, well made yukata.
This is quite beautiful, the picture doesn't do it justice. Well made, little to no dye loss in washing, no noticeable shrinkage in drying. A good-looking garment that is comfortable too. Highly recommended.
