These are easy to use and much more durable than a plastic replacement. Our horses would step on and break the plastic ones but these hold up!

No frills, works as designed and easy to use. Great value.

They are built well and worked on one of my hoses. But, they were not quite large enough for my larger hose and too big for my smaller hose. I tried my best to make it stop leaking on the larger hose by tightening the clamp very tight but it still leaked. I put tape on it to make it fit but it then came out when under pressure. Like another reviewer suggested, I heated the end of one hose that was a little too small and pressed it into the hose. It’s working. The clamp is aggravating because the end of it would catch on my hand. I cut off part of it and put several turns of electrical tape over it to make smooth. Probably better to buy a new hose, but hate to throw a hose away.

Feels like quality.clamps should be covered some way.exposed sharp edge. But what a quality product! Would buy again.

These things work well. They appear durable enough. Had no trouble getting them on the hose ends. Only concern was when the hoses were molded I guess the material was originally flat. Then they formed the cylinder that would become a hose. Where the two sides join there is a ridge. The ends tend to leak along that ridge. I am going to tr y to open one of them and just shave a little of that ridge off where the hose repair goes on. I think that will stop the small bit of leaking. If it works that will become my standard procedure. Other than that all is well.

I won't return them but not happy with them.The picture to me shows brass fittings. And, yes I did read.However, as may happen to others and so I comment this, - they are Aluminum; they are to me in my experience light and will not last, in so many ways if you've used Aluminum items, made to look like brass. Therefore, to me, over priced, as well. However again, what's the choice?So, for comparative example, the fitting this replaced was approximately 25 years old and was outside on the ground for it's life span. It's use ended the other day when thought it needed to be tightened, and when twisted it, broke off the male into the female. That's a great service life. Normally, I'd dig the male thread out, but didn't want to risk a finger cut, and etc.So, I go for these and in my mind am, hmmm ?, and come back here to read, - Aluminum.They may be for dual sized house, - bring some bar soap, spit alone won't do a great job, and will likely seat. - No leaks, so, appears as made properly in that regard.However again, while I may be surprised, I feel if even not damaged from use, will fail soon enough, one winter outside, etc. and, too, again, the price to me and not being brass is for me very irritating. I get nickled and dimed now each season, no brake from that even in yard work.

I like to keep a few of these connectors on hand because I never know when an existing one will need to be replaced. These are every bit as good as those from the large DIY stores and at a better price.

These are very durable. I always need to have them handy, so the purchase of many suits my needs.

The brass itself is a very good quality however the hose clamps are completely useless as they do not tighten up enough to keep the water from spewing out they strip internally very quick
