This product was easy to install using the iPhone Meross app and HomeKit. Basically, just plug the switch in, follow the directions, and scan the code. That’s all I had to do to install on HomeKit. To get the switch on the Meross app, I had to make sure it had access to Bluetooth, Local Network, and Home Data and that it could access my location. Find these settings on iOS 8 under Settings, Apps, Meross.This switch only takes up one plug, which makes it more functional. The response time on my network for this switch is instantaneous. The size, given the fact that there are two plugs in the switch, is slightly bigger but comparable to that an ordinary two plug extension.

I love this smart plug because each side is its own device; in other words you can plug in two different things and have one on and one off and each gets their own tile on HomeKit.It's not a dimmer, it's a straight on and off FYII use these for my patio lights and my patio bluetooth speaker system (I rent out my pool for parties and like to be able to remotely turn off the speaker when the party's time is up .. ha ha big hint) and it works great. I have no trouble with it falling off of wifi or HomeKit. I don't use Alexa so I can't speak to that but it has a good working relationship with Siri. Highly recommend!

I got this because it was cheap and I wanted to try something other than the Wemo HomeKit plugs I had, and I am pretty pleased with it! When you set it up it lets you separate the two outlets in the home app which is really nice, it only has one button for both outlets on the unit but that doesn’t bother me because i just use the Home app/Siri to control it. It’s very responsive, works just as fast as my wemo thread outlets. The only thing that bothered me is it’s really loose when it gets plugged in to the wall, so I had to use a power strip and plug it in facing upwards. It’s under a desk and hidden so that works anyway, but be warned if you want to use this in a wall. This company has other options for a HomeKit dual outlet so that might be better for that.

Really good plugs for HomeKit, I own 1 smart strip, 3 2 dual smart plug ins, plan to buy more from Meross. Soon I hope they have more Matter* smart items. I’ve yet to buy 1. But Meross willProbably be the first 1 I’ll own.

During the device's setup with my iPhone's Home app, the QR code could not be scanned. Had to manually use the printed code on the QR label instead. Using the Home app, the device can only be powered ON and OFF. Routines can not be set up with the ADDITIONAL purchase of a HomeKit controller. I didn't try the Alexa integration. Must be integrated by using the Meross app which I don't trust. Their servers are China-based; however irrelevant to me ATM because the existing HK integration is worthless to me. Returning to Amazon for a refund.

I bought this for my dad. He uses it with Alexa to control table lamps. At first it worked well. About 9 months in it only turns on one plug 90% of the time.

Pretty easy to setup and control. Each outlet is independent and can be scheduled, etc as needed. Very capable for the price.

After a year, it lost its ability to connect to a network.
