Spicy but does an awesome job
Be careful while handling. I use a few drops in my hair oil and notice significant reduction in hairfall.

Surprising use!
I am very happy with this purchase! I follow a Chemistry blog from which I learned a weed killer printed in her ebook. Her weed killer recipe calls for liquid capsicum BUT I had to follow her math and use only the proper percentage for it to work great.

Holy Maloney! My skin is on fire!!!
****I've had to update my previous review****First try of this was my Mum, using it mixed with a carrier oil. One small drop in a tablespoon of carrier oil, with no issues.Curious.. I just tried it and - oh - my - God! I feel like someone has set fire to my skin!!!!Be really really careful with this oil! Never use without diluting it and I recommend strongly that you do a patch test first on a tiny part of your skin where the itching and burning will not drive you insane.I stupidly rubbed this on the back of my hands and felt nothing.Feeling confident, I rubbed it on my bad knee. Still nothing.5-minutes later....JEEZ!!!!I feel like I'm being stung by 1, 000 bees!!! It literally is driving me crazy!!!! As if that's not bad enough I accidentally rubbed my eye, which now feels like it's on fire🔥DO A PATCH TEST FIRST IN A SMALL AREA and wait 24-hours.This may well have therapeutic properties, but it is dangerous if you don't use it according to the instructions.***********************'I've tried other essential oils from this brand and they are always good quality.Chilli essential oil is is usually used for pain relief and stimulating the circulation, so on some people it may be useful for or pain and poor circulation. It must always, always, always be diluted - in a carrier oil, water or cream and never ever used directly on the skin. This applies to all essential oils but in particular to Chilli as it may cause irritation if used neat. I definitely wouldn't recommend inhaling this either! As this is a 'therapeutic' anti-inflammatory, I definitely would not recommend this in a diffuser. For this you would use a fragranced flora essential oil.Firstly, with an oil like chilli which could be a potential irritant, always do a patch test 24-hours before you use it.This does warm the skin so may be useful for rubbing into your feet and legs if you have circulatory issues. Heavily diluted and massaged into the skin and muscles it may provide temporary relief for muscular and soft tissue pain, or sports injuries. As with fresh chilli, you need to be careful not to touch your face or eyes when using this oil.I've made up a solution of this for my Mum as she suffers from PMR and arthritis. I'm using with other pain relieving oils such as black pepper and wintergreen. This warms the skin in and provides temporary relief.Do research any essential oils that you use, as there are contraindications with some. They are therapeutic oils and not just intended to just make your room smell nice. Some are suitable for room fragrance but some definitely aren't. (This isn't). Always research essential oils you use, as you would a medicine, as they can be very powerful.Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of this oil.Heed the warnings and never ever ever ever use this undiluted on your skin... unless you are a sadist!

Pure Cassia Oil offers Wellbeing benefits
During lockdown, I have been using essential oils to blend my own bath and body oils, soaps and for general diffusing. This has helped to keep me entertained and busy and I feel that I have benefited from the sense of wellbeing and calm that essential oil use can provide. I have been trying to learn about essential oils and their properties as I go along - Thanks to the internet, information is more accessible than ever, and I have managed to come across oils and carrier oils that I had not previously been aware of. I think like most amateurs, I had heard of oils such as lavender, ylang ylang and jasmine but was not familiar with others such as cassia. For those of you who are just learning, as I am, Cassia is a member of the cinnamon family and is often substituted for pure cinnamon. Cassia does have the familiar, warming scent of cinnamon and is great for using in festive blends. Cassia oil is thought to be benefitial for the immune system, as it aids circulation and digestion. It also contributes to general wellbeing and has been used as an anti-depressant traditionally.I have used this oil with my favourite carrier oil, almond, to create bath oils and body oils. By applying essential oils to the skin, their benefits are absorbed in to the system while also nourishing your skin. The warming scent is very calming and does remind me of winter - it would be perfect if you were making festive wax melts or bath oils.Greenwood Essentials is a brand that produces quality oils at a reasonable price. They are not the cheapest on the market, but their oils are always of a decent quality and are undiluted. I am a big fan of this brand as I have yet to encounter an oil that I am unhappy with, and so I am happy to recommend this item.
