AUNE T1SE USB DAC Headphone Tube Amplifier 24BIT/DSD - Black

Using with a Hifiman He-400i and with an Amperex JAN 7308 tube.Really helps to bring out the potential of my headphones. I can't explain in detail or with terms but it really gave a boost in hearing the little things. With the tube upgrade the bass and a lot of other stuff really pops out more. Definitely worth to upgrade the tube and this DAC does a great job in being able to bring out quality from sounds. The best thing about this DAC is that you can mix up the tubes to change how you would like the sound to be; more highs, mids, lows, better soundstage, etc.

I just received my Aune T1 MK2 (December 2017). I have 3 MacBook Pro Laptops. Two of them are new within the last 2 years. They are all running Mac OS Sierra, or High Sierra. The only computer that recognizes this DAC is my 2010 MacBook Pro. And, on that computer, only one (of the two) USB ports recognizes it ... I assume that that is the USB 2.0 port. Will be returning.

Amazing DAC/Amp combo. A definite improvement compared to my old solid state DAC/Amp. The sound is rich and warm and is output via line-out to my mixer at the optimum level. The unit has a solid build and the tube is easily swappable. I've upgraded to an Amperex 6DJ8/ECC88 and it sounds even better compared to the stock tube. Definitely a good purchase.One thing that I wish I had known is that the line-in only goes to the headphone out. I had the impression that line-in would go out both headphone and line-out. Not a big deal, just disappointed I couldn't use it as a pre-amp for my turntable.
