Received ours the other day and let it air out for a day or so (smelled pretty bad but I'm sensitive to smells) so I suggest you let it air out. A bit concerned about the chemical smell but for a product that won't get played with that often ehh.... My kids have enjoyed it. it's small enough to be played with indoors and they love the colors and pattern of colors. the handles are a nice touch. so far they've walked on it, thrown it in the air and had fun diving underneath it and used it as a tent cover. If you're on a budget and want something that encourages active play then I'd give this a chance.
