Front Steel Leveling Kit | 2.0" inch Lift | for 2001-2012 Ford Escape (or Mercury Mariner)
Direct fit. No mod needed. Do not pay attention to folks that are weetodds or the one or two YT guys that installed and said you must drill out strut mount holes. You do not. Part is a direct fitt no mod required.1. Remove OEM strut, if you don't know how watch a yt, make sure to bungee the hub, brake caliper and rotor in place so axle does not slip out of joint.2. Take this 2" level and test fit into strut holes, I turned until all studs fit into the factory holes. Note or mark orientation of direct fit, and mount on new strut. Loaded strusts have marks to show correct orientation, pay attention to correct orientation of struts. (My OEM strut/springs had 30K miles, I could have reused but opted for the jungle's Monroe "quickstrut" fully loaded new struts for R & L) why put old struts and springs back on? time waster. 3. bolt 2" leveler onto top of strut studs with supplied lock nuts, use some thread-locker for safety, torque nuts to correct top nut specs;4. slide entire unit into strut tower, may take some maneuver as you have added about 1.75" to length of strut, once studs are in holes loosely hand tighten all nuts, leave loose until large bottom bolts are installed back into the steering knuckle/hub assembly. 5 tighten top four nuts to spec, replace wheel as per Monroe install instructions lower vehicle and then tighten two lower strut mount bolts to spec.Leveled the stance of a 2008 Escape Hybrid. Looks much better. Ride was good with new quick-struts.I have lifetime alignment via pep boys so just took it back to local PB and had them check and re-align wich is a 2-3 time a year deal anyway. Drives great.

High quality, easy installation, measure before purchasing.
Excellent product that fits exactly as advertised. Word of warning, this product is not compatible in conjunction with the Old Man Emu 1.75" lift kit that is available for these vehicles. The maximum downward travel allowable by the CV joints is approximately 3.5 inches. Save yourself the hassle and purchase the 1.5" spacers if you plan to combine these top-mount spacers with spacers that go between the spring coils or if you plan to use larger springs. These spacers are an excellent and cost-effective way to raise your front end 2".But please don't max out your travel, play it safe.I have a set of 1.5" spacers in the mail after having tortured my CV joints for a few days.

Good lift kit
Nice lift kit for the money but beware once you lift the front of your escape it will have cv axle shake on acceleration.

Didn’t fit/work
So the simplest story is they do bolt onto your strut. But once you put them on and try to install them on your vehicle. You’re gonna fight your lower control arms and axle to put your strut back in. After all you’re fighting and cursing is done… you manage to get them on you notice you LCA’s are being pushed down so much that they don’t travel up right. So no over Choice here, but to remove them and go back to stock. This is a waste of money….

100% do not buy the 2"
So I wanted the 2" kit for my 2009 escape to fit 30" tires. Well sadly 2 hours later and knuckles busted and some nasty words said. They got returned cause with the CV length they will not fit. Buy the 1.5" and call it a day. I wished I looked at reviews before just buying it. I didn't search reviews cause I got link from a friend on FB group.
