Not 3.0
Despite what is printed right on the case, this doesn't seem to work with USB 3.0; the connection seems to "strobe" between connected and disconnected, as demonstrated by the techno remix of the Device Connected/Device Disconnected sounds my PC makes when I plug this drive into a USB 3.0 port.In a USB 2.0 port, it works perfectly. Only downside to this is I'm left with USB 2.0 speeds. But since I'm only using this for imaging SSD's that will see this case once before finding their new homes in a new laptop, I can live with that.

Adapter died after using it three times.

out of the case at reasonable ambient temperatures it works fine. you get what you pay for
the adapter works as advertised, but when the SSD is in the enclosure, under high workload it will experience thermal shutdown due to lack of airflow. perhaps filling the box with liquid TIM before inserting the SSD might help assist with proper heat transfer to the aluminum case but that's a sloppy solution. out of the case at reasonable ambient temperatures it works fine. you get what you pay for.

Great little MSATA SSD Enclosure.
Worked perfectly to clone my MSATA SSD Drive. I now use it for the old SSD as a small 16 GB external drive.

Good case to convert your mSATA SSD to an external drive.
It just works, not bad for the price, the case has no holes, so it gets warm after a while.
