Easy process & charming result!
I don’t know why this has any bad reviews! My husband and I bought this to assemble together as a date night project after we got tired of Lego cars. We ended up spending 3 nights on it and loved every minute of it! I appreciated that the pieces were perforated and scored for ease of assembly. The instructions are mainly composed of illustrations and we felt sometimes that they could have been clearer. But every time a section came together we would say “It’s so adorable!” For $20 you can’t have a better automata experience!

Really pretty fun!
I thought it was fun to put together. I wish I was better at gluing but with patience I muddled through and it really really works! Want more of this type.

Great model with pre-cut parts!
Excellent model! The precut pieces save a ton of time; you just need to fold, assemble, and glue. The instructions are very basic- it helps that I have experience assembling paper models. It might be slightly trickier as a first project. But the quality and movement of the model are awesome!

exceptionally well designed
I like the precut pieces...they are precise and easily removed from the background. The design is exemplary...it is easy to put together, yet complex enough to make an wonderful moving piece. The whole thing is the best I've ever worked with.

Really fun!
Item is great entertainment. Biggest problem I'm encountering is how many more am I going to buy to make and give as fun gifts. I'm thinking that number is possibly in the dozens.
