A NECESSARY TOOL, GREAT QUALITY!
This tool is a must for those wishing to properly install a scope base and rings to a rifle, in addition to any task requiring inch-pound torque pressure to install a screw. First, the quality of this item is very good. It's well-made and simple to use. The instructions are clear, concise, and very easy to comprehend. I have a Brownells master gunsmith screwdriver set and this tool works with all the bits, making it incredibly versatile. The plastic case and ten accompanying bits are an added plus. Even though I have a good friend who is always more than happy to let me borrow his (and I have many times), I figured it's past time for me to buy my own. This is a very affordable, practical, and quality tool that you'll be pleased to own and use.

Excellent Driver easy to Set.
Its a Wheeler, if you shoot, you need this tool!Came with Factory Calibration Paper, Now my scope rings are Set Correctly. The 1 problem is No phillips head, but like any man I used my Milwaukee bits kit, or any 6 sided bit seat. The included bits are Ok, not great but... The driver does the job, bits you buy by the bag.

2026 NEC will require Torque-To-Spec. This ΒΌ" hex-drive TTS driver seems good.
I'm an electrician, not a firearms owner, and I needed a reliable, accurate torque screwdriver for terminations.Wheeler Engineering was highly recommended for a good TTS driver without breaking the bank.I just ordered a 2nd one because the first one I ordered got left in another shop that I won't have access to all week, so I figured I might as well get a 2nd dedicated driver that will never leave my toolbox except when in use.The drivers seem well-built, and according to the handwritten torque verification inside, this 2nd one is accurate to an average of +/- 0.01 in-lbs from indicated. Impressive! The ΒΌ" standard hex drive is a really nice, buy easily overlooked feature.I say this because a friend of mine bought the $350 Wiha insulated TTS driver set, and its reciever is SMALLER than ΒΌ", making it useless if you happen to drop the bits in a tight spot...or need to use a bit that they didn't include in the set...you also need a long hex wrench to change the torque setting!!BUT NOT THE WHEELER!πI'll update this review, once I use it for a few load center panels, and we'll see how it holds up.Edit from 4 to 5 stars. Love the tool, works great and no guessing if you've hit the selected torque.

Wish it had a digital display
The Wheeler torque wrench delivers consistent, reliable performance for precision gunsmithing tasks. The tool provides clear tactile and audible feedback when reaching the target torque value, making it straightforward to avoid over-tightening sensitive components. The calibration remains stable through extensive use, giving confidence in repeatable results. The included bit set covers all common gunsmithing applications, from scope rings to action screws, with hardened steel construction that resists wear. The storage case is well-organized, keeping everything protected and readily accessible. The ergonomic handle design allows for smooth, controlled torque application, which is crucial for delicate operations.Build quality is impressive at this price point - the all-metal construction feels robust and precise. The adjustable torque settings are clearly marked and the mechanism transitions smoothly between values with positive detents. For scope mounting in particular, it provides the precision needed to ensure proper tension without risking damage to expensive optics. One particularly useful feature is the reversible drive head, making it versatile for different mounting situations. While some may prefer digital tools, the mechanical simplicity of this wrench means there's less that can go wrong when you need it most. For anyone serious about firearm maintenance and assembly, this tool provides professional-grade results with proper technique.ββββββββββββββββ

Great buy for the money.
Perfect for what I need. Really good torque screwdriver for optics etc. not a lot of bits but you can take a bit from any tool set to fit.

Nice quality driver !
Nice solid torque wrench. I would recommend getting a bit set to match as it only comes with very basic bits. I paired it wit a Wheeler 100 Piece Screw Driver set. Very happy with both

Essential To Have One
You really need to have this Wheeler Manual Firearms Accurizing Torque Wrench with Inch/Pounds if you are mounting rifle scopes, tightening actions, etc. The bottom dial is easy to use and breaks once you hit the desired inch/pound setting. I bought these more expensive than other non-name brand sets due to the high rating and number of reviews (4.8 rating with over 16K reviews). I did not wanted to make sure that the things that I am tightening are within spec....The handle is truly "FAT" but comfortable in your hand. The 10 bits are a bit skimpy but cover basic stuff. I ended up buying the Wheeler 55 Piece SAE/Metric Hex and Torx Screwdriver Set for Pistol Rifle Handgun GunsmithingI couldn't afford the basic Fix-It-Sticks set at $100 more than this Wheeler set. Many YouTubers recommend - DON'T forget to loosen the dial back to zero once you are done with your project.
