These are much less bright than the 85w energy saver lights I decided to replace due to not being able to dim them.That's the best thing about these lights, you can leave them in place & simply dime them rather than have to move them to achieve desired key/fill light qualities. Luckilly I shoot products so have the option for longer shutter speeds to compensate for the dim lights.2 things I'm hating on though & seeking solutions? The stands that come with these lights are the cheapest/nastiest I have ever seen, they have been stored away & replaced. Secondly, the light connector to the stand only has a vertical option which limits the tilt of the lamp considerably beacuse of the U frame meaning you can only tilt them down about 15' so high lighting is not possible. I'm currently searching for a 90' spigot to allow the U frame support to be at the back of the lights instead of under them.I'll try to adapt them but would not buy again if needed.

The media could not be loaded.  I've tried a few different light set ups for my YouTube Videos. I was fed up with the Alien eye that I got with using a ring light. These LED lights are perfect for my setup and a much needed upgrade. Good quality build, brightness and ease of use. Simple to set up and smaller than the ring light, and Softboxes I've tried previously, which were too big for my Studio. The only thing that I feel would've been a bonus is a carry case for the tripods, but that's not an issue if you're not traveling around. They come with carry cases for the LED lights, which doesn't take up much storage space. Overall very pleased with these LED lights.

At first I was impressed with the lights, they are a good size and do seem of a good quality. The option of running on either battery or mains was a real plus and i loved the total control you think you have of the lights, from the brightness to the actual colour temperature. Although when I used them on a shoot yesterday I noticed the colour temperature was constantly shifting from a white to more orange. I thought it might be the batteries so went to mains power and I still had the same issue. This makes the lights very poor and not really fit for video or film work.

The lights themselves are great and the added option to power on batteries makes them really portable. However, they are really let down by the poor quality stands, the light brackets don't even fit them properly. If you were looking to rely on the stands, don't buy these, you'll be forever frustrated. If you've got brackets and a collection of nuts and bolts, they may be worth the investment and a little work.I should add that I purchased these at a time when they were being offered with a third off from the normal price - I wouldn't have paid the full amount for them, based purely on the stands.

Very impressed with this photography lighting set. Whilst it can be used outside, I have only used it inside and it has met my needs perfectly. I take lots of photos to write instructional kits and pdfs and work on my kitchen table. I liked that they were LED so inexpensive to run and stay cool when left on for any length of time. They are nice and compact too and can be tilted and swivelled on their stands. Very pleased with them. A star purchase for me and well worth the price.

Suprised how really great these are and with the batteries they are brilliant for working on location - very impressed. Could be just a little former on the stand.

the are great value for money and do exactly what is says on the box! however i do recommend using weights as the stands are not that sturdy also the carrying cases are rubbish, mine split within a week

I must have received a faulty item, the wiring was so dangerous, it was crackling the light kept on switching on and off.Has put me off from buying another one of this from this company, also the power of the light was not bright.
