I was excited about this product as it is organic and I heard a lot about the high quality of Bulgarian roses. However, when I received the product, I was very disappointed with the freshness and quality of the rose water. It smells sour and very rancid and nothing like fresh roses. I have purchased several brands in the past such as Heritage, and Teddie Organics which were much cheaper but their smell was fresh and amazing.I have reached out directly to the manufacturer, but they were not able to stand up behind their product and simply refered me to Amazon to process my refund. I do not recommend to buy rose water from this company

I absolutely loved this product. I use it both as a spray-on toner and hydrator for midday if needed. My skin is VERY oily skin, prone to breakouts, and I also have quite a few acne scars that never faded.I use this product in combination with Cetaphil daily facial cleanser and my Mia 2, and I use a small amount of African Shea butter or organic jojoba oil after the rose water dries.After using this product for a month with morning and nighttime face washes (3-4 sprays each time), I have about 60% of it left.After a couple of weeks, I could notice a difference in my skin; my pores were minimizing and the scars were starting to fade. After another couple of weeks, my friends and family were noticing and complimenting on how well my skin was clearing up! I was ecstatic. I expect within the next month all of my scars will be nonexistent and my pores remain slightly minimized.The only thing I hoped the rose water would do that it didn’t was controlling my excessive oil production.Other than that, this product is fantastic. I highly recommend!

Really sort of shocked by all of the negative reviews. Maybe people have never tried rosewater before? I've been using rosewater to spritz my face for almost 20 years. Having tried so many rosewaters and rosewater-based toners (Evanhealy, Dr Hauschka, Mountain Rose Herbs, countless more), I feel pretty confident in saying that Alteya's is excellent quality and this bigger 8oz is good value. I actually think it has an incredible rose aroma. When I opened the package, I immediately spritzed it all over my face, and my husband was entranced by how good it smelled. I love using this to spritz my face after cleansing for a nice toning effect.

Finished up my 1st bottle (purchased about 2-3 yrs ago) and enjoyed the scent so much I ordered bottle # 2 in June. I went to pour some in a clean spray bottle for vacation and P.U. it stunk so badly. Nothing like the first one which was pleasant, rosy, and sweet but not overpowering. It took me a while but finally I realized it smelled exactly like the rose petals had sat in a big pile after being picked and stayed there much too long. The petals smelled rotten. And super strong. I definitely willnot be purchasing this again.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! I will never use another toner again!I'm not sure if it's with age that my skin is requiring different products, but I used to use the Clean and Clear on my face, but has become too strong, even to the point where I was getting severe dry patches on my cheeks. After doing a little research, and reading customer reviews Amazon had put this on sale for about $12 instead of the usual$25, so I took the opportunity to try it, and haven't looked back since.I use the Rose water after I wash my face, neck, and shoulders with organic raw African Black soap. And I swear I've not had a problem with my skin since, and I've been getting compliments more than some of my friends who I know use products that are from high end retailers! 😊

I can't understand why some reviewers are talking about the scent so negatively. I mean this is a rose water for the skin and not a perfumed rose water, so it isn't like wearing a fragrance. Which frankly I'm grateful for, as I want the anti-inflammatory and other beneficial skin properties. And I think it smells really lovely, a nice gentle scent. But also my skin has been much happier since I switched from a toner with a long list of ingredients to this very simple nontoxic one-ingredient product. I highly recommend, just not if you're looking to scent your skin. It's a skin toner, not a perfume.

I have been on a mission to find the best Organic rose water toner on the market, as part of my face routine and this was an option that I went with mainly because the company claims that they use a single organic ingredient, and that’s it.Some things that I didn’t like with this product included the nozzle; when spraying a toner on, I really appreciate a good quality nozzle that sprays a fine mist all over your face and body. This nozzle leaves beading of the rose water all over your face it’s almost too much.Another thing that I immediately noticed was the incredibly strong scent of the toner itself. This scent is not light at all when compared with other rose water toners and is pretty heavy on the nose. It almost smells like something was added to the mix like some sort of fragrance to become more appealing to people that literally want to smell like they’re spraying perfume all over their body. The smell can honestly be overwhelming to people that are sensitive to harsh smells and are prone to headaches and migraines.Now with that being said, I’m suspicious of the claim that this product is just 100% organic Rose Water. Since using this toner my face has become somewhat dry and flaky. I have a feeling that there is some sort of alcohol in this that is doing it because if never had this issue with other rose water toners. I did not find this hydrating at all and It can honestly seem a little harsh for sensitive skin types. A lot of people don’t realize that fragranced toners and moisturizers that have alcohol in them dry your skin out and are counterintuitive to a moisturizing skin care routine. Your face deserves simple and gentle natural ingredients. Treat your skin right and it will thank you!!Will not be buying this again.

My Holy Grail!Absolutely love this this, I spritz this in between using humectants and Occlusive creams or serumsWorks amazing along side The Ordinary Serums.I also spray it all over me on wet skin just coming out the shower. Best purchase of the year! Made my year and I’ve must of spent thousands on products!(Wouldn’t recommend if your using retinol A... my friend used it and it irritated so much but she has sensitive skin. My daughter 15 has used this and loves this!

Caused tiny bumps on forehead and tops of cheeks. But for reference I have extremely sensitive skin and rosacea. Pretty sure this product will agree with most people, but my skin isn’t like most people’s :(Oh, also, I bought this on prime and the packaging was totally crushed, as was the plastic lid - if you’re buying this as a gift, beware that this could happen.

First time I use Rose water. I ordered with prime and delivery was very fast. It was well packed. Love that it is in a dark glass bottle and that there are no other ingredients added. The smell is lovely. I use it in the morning as a face cleanser and as a toner before putting my other products on. I have Rosacea and my skin tolerates it very well. So far I am happy and would recommend it! I only wonder how long the content will last.

I suppose to give 5 stars this Rosewater but I end up giving them 3 stars the reason behind that is I previously both the same rosewater (size and bottle) The first and second bottle I got has beautiful scent of rose that is why I'm happy with it. But on third bottle something is change I am a bit disappointed with the scent. The smell is different from what I used to buy with them.. I did compare it to remaining rosewater I have . I don't know if there is specific reason why the scent change.. I did preferred the previous scent rather than the one I have now...I am now thinking whether I will purchase this item again when I finished it...

I have tried a few brands and this is the only one that smells like actual roses and leaves my hair hydrated. Best thing I have found for locs! Glass bottle would have been preferred though

Lovely delicate smell of Roses which fades once it's on your face. Nice dark glass bottle with good spray to mist your face feels very refreshing on the skin and good to know it's a natural product.

I've ordered product a week ago and I must say it's one of the best which I have. I've never been big fan of rose scent, but I love this one. It's pure rose-distilled water without extra additives, which is very good for sensitive skin. I use it even 10 times a day. Morning before moisturiser, through the day to refresh my skin and before bedtime. I'm very satisfied. Love it.

This product has an initial cooling effect on the skin,then when dry has a light moisturising effect without feeling at all sticky or greasy.In my opinion, a great buy at a good price.
