This does run small, I usually wear a 14 and I bought the 16/18 and it fit great. I'm 5'7" with a longer torso and it goes above my belly button and still covers my butt. It smooths the tummy and it very comfortable. Very happy with my purchase

Going by the reviews I ordered the 18. I wear a 12/14 normally, but went ahead and ordered up. Fits great with good coverage. Very comfortable not being too big and not too small. I'm 5'5" @ 190lbs. 38-33-42. Hope this helps. I know I rely on specifics and pics!

I give it three stars only because it is sized a bit small. The overall quality is good and I would buy from this company again. I typically wear a 16/18 and because someone else noted it fits snug I ordered a size 20. Even at a 20 it still fits more snugly than I would like, giving me some muffin top...so if you wear an 18 maybe go two sizes up?

I love love love this bottom. I've been looking for something with a little support to help with my mommy pooch that just never seems to go away. For reference I am 5'11 and wear and 18/20 bottom (depending on brand) and ordered a 20..fit well. I always like the skits to be long enough to hide my upper thighs but not so long they look like a granny skirt and this did just that for me. Nice high rise waist helps keep problem areas intact lol. Will see be ordering more colors.

I really like the fit of this swim skirt. It does fit high so nothing is hanging out, but if you try to squeeze into a size smaller, you will have hang over. I am glad the description said to order a size 10 if you are a size 6, because otherwise it would have been way too small! Read the description and do as it says!!

As other reviews stated I ordered 2 sizes up. I wear a 10 and ordered a 14. The leg holes in the bottom are a bit large, but not a deal breaker since the skirt covers it. I do not have skinny thighs or a small butt. I am a bit bottom heavy, hence the need for a skirted bottom. Waist and skirt with are perfect. I am 5' 6". It sits at my waist, the length is good and covers the upper thighs and butt well with out looking matronly. Material is a very good quality. I have washed it once and line dried and it did well. Great purchase for the money. Very slimming and flattering style.

I', a bit fan on this swimsuit bottom; I gave it only 4 stars because I expected more ruching based on the picture but it lays really flat on my body and it's as flattering as I think it could be. It is still very flattering and I'm happy with the purchase, I worse this on my recent vacation and got a few compliments.

This is my favorite swim bottoms ever. It covers my stretch marks and hits on the thighs in just the right spot to make them look thinner. For size reference, the 8(US 4) was a tad big in the waist on my 25" waist, but fits well everywhere else (35" hips). I have an unusually long torso for my size, and the skirt still comes up above my belly button. It is a true high waisted skirt, with the waist sitting right at my natural waist/the smallest part of my torso. I'm seriously consider buying more in other colors.
