There are meals in this book that require boxed or canned ingredients. Quick meals indeed. A couple cans of creamed soup and frozen vegetables and you have a meal. Even some of the desserts tell you to buy boxed mix or refrigerated pie crusts. Good vegetarian meal ideas that use fresh ingredients though. This book utilizes the cans of veggies and soup all ready in the pantry and has helped in a time crunch. Nothing big in this book that stands out. Still I'm glad I bought it.
