Christmas Cookies Cookbook (Seasonal Cookbook Collection) Plastic Comb – July 1, 2005

I love this book! It is full of great idea's and the instructions are so easy to follow anyone could use this book including young girls. The illustrations take you from one step to the next so that you can easily use this book daily.The only thing about this book that I would change would be the binding. It gets stuck easily and you have to make sure that you don't lose any pages. That being said, if you just keep the book open and set it on a counter or table you would be fine. You just can't easily go from one recipe to the next without being careful of the binding. Otherwise you would have no problem just following one recipe at a time. I just like to make more than one batch of cookies at a time for my grandkids.

At 51, I judge namely cookie books by its ability to show me something new.This one has a good amount of both knowns and unknowns to try.I always opt for spiral editions which I did with this one. That being said, the only thing to make this book better is laminated pages to go with it.Edit: this is the cheap spiral and I've already had to put pages and the back cover back on. Additionally, of the 5 I've tried so far, the baking times are way off.Rethinking keeping it.

I love these books but especially this style which allows the book to lay flat. There are also some nice color photos which in other formats are not included. Looking over the content I can't wait to dive in. You can always rely on these books for great time tested recipes!

First I read the entire book in 1 day and have crimped the edge for every recipe Im going to try for Christmas cookie exchange...Cant wait to get cooking!

Was looking for a good Christmas cookie recipe book. WOW I struck gold with this one. A must have for all cookie makers and grandmother's who make cookies with their grandchildren! The variety of cookies will make baking for your cookie swaps rewarding! Buy this one! Happy baking!

I was disappointed that so many recipes called for crisco. But there were many that called for butter.

Huge fan of all of the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. Excellent tried and true recipes. We made a few from here this Christmas to add to our cookie trays and everyone was pleased. Great books and always affordable.
