Floto Procida Italian Calfskin Leather Messenger Bag, Vecchio Brown, One Size

Beautiful briefcase all around, but I do have a gripe... The shoulder strap. With such a nice quality bag, it sure does have a weak, flimsy, skinny strap with a sorry excuse for the shoulder "pad", as there IS NO padding. Most upper end messenger bags at least have the strap have two sides of leather to them. This one has one strap of leather with one side of the strap painted the color of the bag and the other side as raw, non treated, non colored leather. The piece of the strap that rests on the shoulder is tiny and thin as well, so if you put anything more than a folio in the bag, it digs into your shoulder. I ordered a beautiful, thick replacement strap (on Amazon as well, of course) from Winn International (description: Extra-Long Ergonomic Leather Shoulder Strap Color: Black with Black Hardware) that is 100% high quality leather and the shoulder piece is soft leather that is thick and padded. That strap has made ALL the difference for me, and if this messenger bag came with that strap (or similar in quality) I'd give this item five stars.

this was a wedding gift to me. I cannot believe it is of such superior quality for the price. Just love this bag. Can it every day to work, the coolest bag i have even got. it is very well built and very good leather quality. keep getting compliments every now and then.there is just some small problem thought, i have seen twice that the small pieces of extra string coming out, it does not effect the stitching or nothing like that bag is falling apart. i just clipped it off and it was good to go.

Great purchase, well built and perfect for my laptop and journal. Already getting compliments on it, the color was perfect too. inititally thought it would be too light, however I was wrong. THe pen holders are somewhat snug for my bigger pens, but may break in over time.

Bag was a Christmas gift to our son. Arrived on time in perfect condition. The picture does not do it justice, its beautiful. A few weeks ago a screw attaching the handle slipped out. We emailed Floto. They responded within hours saying they would mail us a new screw. A week later they emailed us with a pre-paid shipping label to return the bag for a replacement with a new bag. They did not have any screws to send us. We expect the bag to arrive tomorrow.Its an awesome bag. Looks great. Feels great....and the customer service can't be beat.Update: Replacement bag arrived on time as promised and in perfect condition

Excellent quality and beautiful true to form leather and craftsmanship, plus the company has terrific customer service for any replacement parts or questions about leather care, the bags are meant for long term use! Bought this as a gift for my fiance and plan to get a Floto purse for myself!

The color wasn't what I expected. I thought it was a darker tan. My son didn't think it was conservative enough for his office.

Very nice leather and perfect size. My husband loved it! Has room for all his documents and IPad. Having a handle along with the strap is the kind if messenger bag he has always liked. I've been to Italy and their leather is such good leather. I would recommend this product.
